Apple Cobbler
Ingredients:
300g Butter, Browned
535g Sugar
2 Eggs
535g AP Flour
5g Baking Soda
20g Baking Powder
1 tsp Cinnamon
8g Salt
480g Whole Milk
480g Sour Cream
14g Vanilla Extract
1000g-1500g Macerated Apples
(Note you can use other Mixed Fruit)300g Oat Streusel Topping (recipe below)
Instructions:
Make Brown Butter, set aside.
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients:
AP Flour, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, Cinnamon, SaltIn a small bowl, whisk together Whole Milk, Sour ream, and Vanilla.
In a medium bowl, whisk sugar, eggs, and brown butter.
Alternate adding dry mixture and dairy mixture into the medium bowl (with sugar/eggs/brown butter mixture), then whisk until smooth.
Divide Batter into (2) two 9x13 pans or vessels of choice.
Sprinkle Macerated Apples all over.
Top with Oat Streusel Topping (recipe below)
Bake at 325°F for 35-45 minutes until set.
Oat Streusel Topping
Ingredients:
400g Flour
400g Whole Rolled Oats
400g Light Brown Sugar
2 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Cinnamon
400g Melted Butter
Instructions:
Combine dry ingredients.
Mix in melted butter and toss until fully incorporated.
